Munich day 2

Woke up around 10 again, showered and purchased our very touristy doubledecker open roof sight seeing tour bus tickets. Made it to haupbanhoff just before the grand tour bus was leaving. Rode the first way on the lower floor which brought us to the castle (ha! We did that ourselves yesterday) then went up top and went past BMW museum, olympic park, and the parliment building. We then switched to the local tour and did the interior tour where we saw the angel overlooking the city, theatiner church, national theater, and the ishtar gate. It was rather hot and sunny and quite crowded (there is a gay festival today in marienplatz) so by the time we got off it was 2pm and megan had a 755pm plane to catch. We went to the Hofbrauhaus for lunch (I had a bockwurst, megan the meatloaf) and enjoyed the biergarten atmosphere. Got megan back to martins to grab her stuff and sent her on her way to the airport so she can get to london tonight (usa tomorrow) I then decided to take a nap and hit a biergarten possibly later. Martin is hanging out with his gf (also from the states) and the roommate is off studying. I also want to get to dauchu or neuschwanstein castle tomorrow before meeting up with jens! Well see what happens! Stay tuned! Ended up napping until 8 then at 9 decided to be social. Under martins advice I went to gatnerplatz where a lot of kids our age hang out. It started pouring so I hung around station for a second and then made it to a tower opening and met alex and ralph there, two locals who didn't have plans other than going out so I went with them through the rain. Oh, I forgot to mention there was a gay/lesbian festival/parade throughout the city today so the first bar was packed and I was one of 3 girls in it. Good times we then went a couple more places before alex had to catch his tram and I need to catch the U6 (pronounced uw6) I told the boys them keeping me out late meant they had to get me to harras. The trams were not coming and ralph had to get me a taxi. Made it home by 2am!
